Perth builders. Air conditioning.

Split and ducted systems planned around the building, the drawings and the construction stages.

Bring us into the conversation while equipment positions and service routes can still be coordinated. Our licensed Malaga-based team works through air conditioning installation and the associated electrical requirements with builders and head contractors across Perth.

Start with what you need

Resolve the installation details before they become site problems.

01

Plans & system selection

Choose the system around the proposed rooms.

Start with the current plans, the rooms to be conditioned and how the owner or occupants intend to use them. A split system for an individual space and a ducted system serving several rooms require different installation decisions. Floor area is useful, but glazing, orientation, ceiling height, insulation and room use also influence the selection. If equipment has already been specified, include the models and controls so the installation can be checked against the building rather than treating the equipment schedule as the complete scope.

  • Current drawing revision, site suburb and construction stage
  • Rooms to be served and equipment already selected or still open
  • Indoor and outdoor locations, available space and access constraints
  • For ducted systems, outlets, return air, zones and intended controller operation
02

Routes & building access

Leave room for more than the indoor unit.

Ceiling space can be shared with structure, lighting, cabling and other services. Duct routes, pipework, condensate drainage and return air need to be considered together before walls or ceilings are closed. Equipment also needs a practical route into position and access for future servicing. On a renovation, existing routes or openings may not suit the proposed system. Discuss penetrations, supports, access equipment and any finishing work with the project team so responsibilities are clear before installation starts.

  • Indoor equipment, service clearances and access-panel requirements
  • Duct, pipe and condensate routes, including changes in level or restricted spaces
  • Outdoor-unit mounting, equipment movement and access for servicing
  • Building work, supports, penetrations and making good included or assigned to others
03

Electrical & installation stages

Connect the air conditioning scope to the electrical plan.

Selected equipment needs to be considered alongside the available supply, circuit requirements and any switchboard work. Our dual-trade capability brings those installation questions into one conversation. Confirm which electrical items are included in our quote and which sit with another contractor. The programme also needs to account for equipment availability, access, rough-in and fit-off readiness. If the layout, capacity or equipment changes, tell us before affected work proceeds so routes, electrical requirements, cost and timing can be reconsidered.

  • Selected equipment and its proposed electrical supply
  • Circuit, isolation and switchboard work included in the agreed scope
  • Access and site readiness for each installation stage
  • Current selections, drawing changes and the person approving variations
04

Commissioning & handover

Finish with a system the customer understands.

The installation is not finished simply because the equipment is in position. Agree the site conditions needed for commissioning and the relevant operation and drainage checks. For ducted installations, discuss the intended zone arrangement and how the controls will be explained to the user. Identify the handover contact and any project-specific records requested before the scope is finalised. Equipment information and the applicable electrical documentation should relate to the completed work, with manufacturer warranty terms distinguished from workmanship terms.

  • Completed supply, access and any outstanding work needed before commissioning
  • Relevant system, drainage, control and zone-operation checks
  • Controller use, filter access and routine care information
  • Equipment details, applicable records and items outside the completed scope

How we work together

Clear scope.
Agreed next steps.

  1. 01

    Send the current project brief

Share the suburb, plans and revision, room uses, construction stage and proposed timing. Include any selected equipment, specification or open decisions.

  2. 02

    Agree the installation scope

We work through equipment, service routes, electrical supply, access and work by others. Confirm whether an onsite assessment is needed, then agree inclusions and installation stages.

  3. 03

    Coordinate installation and completion

Confirm readiness before each stage. Changes are discussed before affected work proceeds, followed by the relevant commissioning, controls explanation and handover information.

Before you book

Before the installation is scheduled.

Questions about scope, drawings and coordinating the work.

When should we involve you in the air conditioning scope?

While equipment positions, ceiling space and service routes can still be coordinated. Send the current plans and construction stage. Earlier discussion helps identify installation constraints, but the final scope and timing still depend on the project information, equipment and site conditions.

Can you quote from plans?

Plans and specifications are a useful starting point. Include the drawing revision, site suburb, proposed equipment and requested timing. We confirm whether that information is enough to quote or whether supply, access or existing conditions need an onsite assessment. Any assessment fee is clarified before booking.

Can you include the electrical work with the installation?

Yes. We can consider the equipment and its electrical requirements together, including relevant circuit or switchboard work within the agreed quote. If another electrician is involved, the supply and connection responsibilities need to be identified so there is a clear boundary between the scopes.

Does the quote cover every building or specialist service?

No. The quote needs to identify equipment, installation work, electrical inclusions, access requirements and exclusions. Structural alterations, finishing work, separate approvals or specialist engineering are not assumed to be included. If those are required, their responsibilities and effect on the installation must be agreed with the project team.

Start the conversation

Bring the air conditioning into the plan.

A suburb, a brief description and a way to contact you are enough to start. If you have them, these details help:

  • Site suburb, project type and construction stage
  • Current plans, revision and relevant specifications
  • Rooms to be served and selected equipment, if known
  • Proposed stages, access constraints and work by others
  • Project contact, approval process and requested handover records
