How quickly do you respond to urgent or emergency jobs?
We prioritise urgent requests, especially anything involving health or safety, such as a complete loss of cooling in extreme heat or an electrical fault that isn't safe. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, including outside standard hours for genuine emergencies. For less urgent matters, response and scheduling follow our standard timeframes.
What counts as urgent
We treat a job as urgent when it’s health-or-safety related, for example a burning smell, sparking, no power, or a complete loss of cooling during extreme heat for a vulnerable household. Tell us clearly when you enquire if this applies to you.
How we respond
Genuinely urgent and unsafe jobs are prioritised, and we’ll move quickly to attend, including outside our standard hours where needed. This isn’t the same as same-day service for non-urgent requests; availability still depends on the job and the day.
For everything else
Jobs that aren’t urgent are scheduled in the normal way, following our standard response and booking timeframes.
