Installation01
Plan a new evaporative system
Start with the home and how you use it. We assess the layout, roof access and airflow needs before recommending an installation and explaining the scope.
We look at the current system, its condition and what you want to improve. A replacement quote should explain what can stay, what needs changing and what is being removed.
Existing unit, mounting and duct connections
Water, electrical supply and controls
Repair, evaporative changeover or reverse-cycle options
Tell us the model, when it was last serviced and how it is running. We confirm the cleaning and check-over scope, roof access and cost before you book.
Weak cooling, unusual noise, water problems or a system that will not start need the right diagnosis. Describe what happens so we can plan the assessment.
Cooling, airflow, water and control faults
Repair suitability and parts availability checked
The proposed work and cost explained before repairs
Evaporative cooling draws outside air through water-soaked pads. As the water evaporates, the air cools before a fan moves it through the home.
It is a different system from ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning. We can help you assess which approach suits the home and the comfort you want. You can also compare split, ducted and evaporative air conditioning before choosing a system. If you decide on reverse cycle, our air conditioning installation guide explains the new equipment, routes and electrical work to plan.
Whether you need a service or a complete installation, the quote starts with the details of your home and system.
01
Tell us what you need
Send your suburb and whether you need installation, replacement, servicing or repairs. Add the model and a description of any fault if you have them.
02
Confirm the scope
We review the details, discuss access and explain whether a site visit or fault assessment is needed. The proposed work and cost are confirmed with you.
03
Book the agreed work
We arrange the work, check operation within the agreed scope and explain the outcome. Any additional repairs are discussed and quoted separately.

Evaporative cooling questions.
Need advice about a particular system? Tell us the brand, model and what is happening.
Do you install, replace, service and repair evaporative cooling?
Yes. We handle evaporative cooling installation, replacement, servicing and repairs across Perth. Send your suburb, the work you need and any available system details so we can confirm the scope and next step.
Do windows or doors need to be open?
An evaporative system needs a way for incoming air to leave the home. This is usually through partly open windows or external doors, or suitable purpose-designed exhaust vents. Follow the instructions for your system and the airflow plan for your home.
Why does it cool less on humid days?
Evaporative cooling relies on water evaporating into the air. When the outside air is already humid, that process provides less cooling. Performance should be assessed alongside the weather, settings, airflow and condition of the system.
How often should my evaporative cooler be serviced?
Follow the service schedule in your unit’s owner’s manual. The model, water-management system, use and operating conditions affect the timing. If the service history is unknown or performance has changed, send the model details and describe the issue so we can advise on the next step.
Can I change from evaporative cooling to reverse cycle?
We can assess that option. The replacement needs its own design, including ductwork, outlets, return air, outdoor-unit location and electrical supply. Existing ducts and outlets should be assessed rather than assumed reusable. Tell us if you also want heating as part of the change.
How much does evaporative installation, servicing or repair cost?
We quote for the actual work. System size, condition, roof access, installation requirements and any parts affect the cost. A standard service and a fault diagnosis have different scopes; repairs are quoted separately from routine servicing. Send details and we will confirm the scope and price before booking the work.
